​Attention Maryland community concert band musicians!

Columbia Bands, Inc. proudly announces the 2026 Maryland All-State Community Band!​​

This celebration of music took place on July 25-26, 2026, and featured talented community concert band musicians from throughout Maryland under the direction of Dr. Harlan Parker from the Peabody Conservatory.

All musicians currently active in a Maryland community concert band and who have turned 18 by July 25, 2026, are invited to audition.

The 2026 MASCB will rehearse on Saturday and Sunday morning and perform on Sunday afternoon. We have not solidified the exact schedule, but you must attend all rehearsals and the performance.

The rehearsals and concert will be at River Hill High School in Clarksville, Maryland. The concert will be free and open to the public. A non-refundable $15 audition fee will cover an anonymous, professional adjudication. For selected musicians, an $85 participation fee will cover the conductor, facilities fees, meals, music, and a digital recording of the performance. For participants who want to stay overnight locally, we don't provide lodging, but we're happy to share information on options.

When you're ready to submit your audition materials (by March 15, 2026), please do the following: 

1) Complete and submit the online application form, --OR-- download the fillable PDF application form, complete it and save it, then email it to [email protected].

2) Email your recordings to [email protected].

3) Two ways to pay:
