Welcome!Columbia Bands, Inc. is a community-focused performance organization comprised of three different ensembles.

The Columbia Concert Band performs contemporary and traditional band music at three school-year concerts and usually two outdoor summer concerts, and is directed by Michael Blackman.

The Patuxent Jazz Band is a community jazz ensemble that rehearses and performs music ranging from jazz/swing to rock to Latin, at concerts, dances, and other events, and is directed by Matt Pisarcik.

Flute Cocktail performs original flute repertoire and arrangements of orchestral, folk, swing, and world music at public and private venues and events throughout the year, and is directed by Dr. Linda Kirkpatrick.
