 The Columbia Concert Band is a group of approximately 90 musicians. We rehearse weekly and perform about five concerts per year. Our repertoire consists of many different musical syles, including traditional band arrangements, classical, contemporary, pop/rock, marches, jazz, Broadway, Americana, and baroque.
Founded in 1983, the Columbia Concert Band provides local musicians the opportunity to perform challenging band literature while entertaining the public in the Baltimore and Washington region. The band is affiliated with Howard Community College, which gives credit to students for band participation.
